You might be, your country is hardly a bastion of modern Western civilisation though let's be honest. Been to any stoning's recently?

Haven't seen any of those in Birkenhead yet, but maybe once your lot fully take the UK down we'll start seeing them too.

It'll probably just be my family and other non-white people you'll be chucking the stones at though

Hurry up and start calling people snowflakes despite you being the one having a meltdown. That's usually where things go a few posts after "woke brigade" and "fucking wokies" start rearing their heads.

A conversation about an individual athlete who's suffered genuine horrors in her life, the rest of society's ever declining standards are up for a shout.

Hello ToonArmy.

Liebourpool gave it away, just to let you know.

The mask slipped.

I mean I'd have thought you'd have clocked me a week ago tbh. The same birthdate on my profile and supporting  the same team would have been enough for a competent admin....

He fucking attacked my ethnicity after I fucking defended his initial comments 😂

I didn't attack your ethnicity, I attacked a country and it's government. Learn to read. I'm many things, but I'm not a racist.

I don't really check for everyone's birthday ffs 😆.

God forbid someone support the same team on a football forum. Bloody hell.

Anyway, bye.

You attacked my opinion based off where I'm from.

I'm not a country and I'm not a government - especially not Iran's government.

Learn to read, you're many things... but you're not not a racist.

Imagine complaining about a generation of softies bringing down Western society whilst getting so angry at an American gymnast pulling out of the Olympics that you end up spouting off about Hitler, British communism and Iran. 🤣

Ever think you may have a few things you want to talk through with a specialist like?

Shame he's been banned before he could have read that and maybe gotten the help he so desperately needs.

If the Wirral were a person, it wouldn't be ugly... but it wouldn't be beautiful either - if that makes sense.

So the equivalent of all of us on here. We are Wirral.

South Africa men hockey won against Germany after losing close matches to other top teams. Defiantly the surprise package this time

I’m surprised they even have a hockey team

Hockey participation wise is a major sport top 3-5 in the world. It's still somewhat culturally relevant in the commonwealth sphere + pockets like Netherlands. Olympic centric sport through, all the funding revolves around it and it disappears after that.

P. S Iran has a hockey team. They are decent indoor hockey maybe they should try the larger format too.

I only recently learned Iran has a basketball team by hearing the news that the US team absolutely destroyed them 😂 - was surprised to learn they even have a team. Would have thought more people that tall and athletic in Iran would probably go into volleyball or football... but I guess not.

Nah she smashed Ledecky in two finals that’s all :)

Katie is literally one of the nicest athletes there is, and has been absolute class in all 3 finals she's had so far. She's a much better long distance swimmer than a sprinter, but certainly Titmus has absolutely shown her speed in the short course. So good for her!

Agreed. It’s been a good “rivalry” to watch. I missed most of yesterday’s but I do enjoy watching the swimming, probably up there as some of my favourite events to watch. .

I used to love the rivalry between Thor-pedo and Phelps. Those were absolutely brilliant.
