Phew... we got lucky with the penalty today. Should have put the game to bed earlier instead of conceding a late equaliser like that. 

A massive win for us, will hopefully break that mental block we seemed to have after relegation and  lead to better performances in the future.

Apparently Friedhelm Funkel was Co-Commentator on Sport1.  People weren't happy with their commentating either.

Just checked on Kicker, apparently it was for the foul on Agu. Definitely makes more sense than the handball which was deflected and completely unintentional.

Ah well, emotions cooled down. Obviously wasn't happy with Bremen's time wasting from Minute 30 onwards. But in the end, we fought pretty well. Already had some meme ideas when Narey scored the equalizer.  But it makes me hopeful for the future. Considering we had a few injured or not fully fit key players, whereas Bremen might still sell some of theirs...  Could be a decent season for us. Hennings is scoring again, which he wasn't that much last season. So that's a good sign.

Now we need Dynamo to thrash HSV and Schalke to lose against Kiel tomorrow.

A "funny" thing though. Yesterday was the first time I saw Lex-Tyger Lobinger play without a protective face mask, and he immediately broke his nose.
