Changed my pic and - assuming one or two are interested - young Max joins Mesut in Turkey and got on the field today.  Now wait for some match time and another call to the German squad - he is still worth it - the Hodgson nightmare is over!

First of all, Meyer is 25 years, so he isn't a young player anymore. Second you talk of a NT cap, because he impressed so much at Köln, when he was on loan there?

It's been over since January and he's done nothing since.

Max Meyer played 6 matches for Fenerbahce and was loaned to Midtjylland in January, where he played 8 times. Now his loan is over Fenerbahce didn't even invite him for their pre season training camp.

That means he's failed with a bang on every single station after Schalke, whether it's been Crystal Palace, Köln, Fenerbahce or Midtjylland. Poses the question, if it was indeed the manager's fault in every case or if he simply was phenomenally overrated.
