There have always been people that have been more sensitive than other that's not a new thing. Also sometimes you can understand some peoples sensitivities around certain things. Some people were calling Will Young a snowflake the other day because he was offended by a comment he thought was homophobic on the grand tour. However he has probably recieved a lot of abuse because of his sexuality so its understandable he is a bit sensitive about it. Most people have things they are sensitive about I think we probably are more politically correct that before. However a lot if that is because we are more aware of certain things than we use to be. There were things that were considered politically incorrect before, we have just added to the list abit becaue we are more aware. Dont get me wrong I dont want a censored society but I do understand some bits of it. I always think it's a bit weird when socialist types try to get out of paying tax and complain etc. I can understand complaining about it being spent badly. But for me I dont want there to poverty.
