Tough game today. We've improved under Morison but can't stop conceding goals. Hopefully our form under Morison can continue.

Well, at least you scored in the first half again.

We did indeed. Progress is slowly but surely being made.

Unfortunately, it didn't help that Morrison was a bag of shit throughout and his sending off basically cost us.

An interesting 12 months ahead for Cardiff. Not much money available and arguably the core of the squad do not look good enough any more but the young players coming through look promising.

I'd be surprised to see Keifer Moore there next season but at the same time the likes of Coventry, Luton, Blackpool etc have shown  you don't need significant resources to be competitive at the minute.

Will be more interesting as I think about 9 of the first team squad are in the final year of their contract.

Smithies, Morrison, Flint, Ralls, Pack, Brown, Vassell, Murphy and Vaulks.

Other than Ciaron Brown that's a lot of money saved on wages for a rebuild.

True, but it's also a decent chunk of our first team as well.

Admittedly, of that lot there's only a couple I would be sad to see leave (Ralls and Smithies mainly, though the latter is our highest earner). Morrison would be a shame as he'd have been with us for 8 years by that point, but if yesterday's performance was anything to go by (as well as his poor performances throughout the season so far), he won't be offered a new contract.
