Anyone been? I went a while back with me girlfriend for a late 1 year anniversary weekend break...loved it. One of those places you wish you could live in for a while.

We done most of the main touristy stuff so I'd be in no hurry to do them all again at the same time, but I'd definitely want to spend more time in Montmartre and around Jardin du Luxembourg as the restaurants looked amazing (the one we went to was) and the architecture mixed with the more narrow roads was so nice.

We spent a lot of time eating lunch on the go as we were constantly moving so I'd like to spend more time having sit down meals around Paris.

Favourite part of the city had to be Montmartre by a country mile.

Some of my pictures below.

Yeah, it's my favourite place in the world. Been there four or five times and I'm not even close to done. I love Montmartre as well, I've stayed in a hotel on Rue des Abbesses on all but one of my visits. I'll probably look for an Airbnb apartment next time, but I want to stay in Montmartre.

Jardin du Luxembourg is my favourite place to relax as well.

Been a few times, really like the city. For me it's less about the landmarks and more in the charm of the little cafes and stuff amongst the hustle and bustle where you can just go for a cold pint mid afternoon to cool down.

The touristy stuff is good too though. Montmartre is my favourite part of the city, great view from up there.

If you're going just watch your pockets at all times too. My Nan almost had her camera pick pocketed last time we went.

Spent 2 days there for work. Thought it was great, enjoyed walking around, only downside was the little kids trying to con you around key sites with their ring leading mother watching on from a distance.

People were great in my time there except one who I had to work with who was a total Marine Le Pen. She could speak English but refused, however she did keep feeding me sweets so I will let her off.

Is it still like that then? I went years a go and it was like that then.

I was almost attacked in Paris outside a nightclub, but I liked it if it wasn't for that.
