From what I've seen, he is arguably the best around in not falling for players that force into fouls, and always carding players immediately after they make blatant tactical fouls. Every time I've seen him officiate he looks pretty shit at it, and he's got that smug cocky attitude at being shit as a referee that Dean has. Sorry, I'm just not having that he's a competent official. Maybe he's the best Spain have to offer, and if so... that's shit for them and I symapthise with Spanish football fans.
