Going to need a momentous shift in mentality vs what we saw against Brentford. Not expecting this to be easy like last season.

Mendy

Christensen Silva Rudiger

James Jorginho Kante Alonso

Mount Pulisic

Havertz

This but Azpilicueta at LWB.

Seems Tuchel had just about enough of Alonso.

Does Christensen know its Barcelona that are after him? Appalling defensive display along with the entire back 5. Strangers out there.

Why Jorginho doesn't play those balls more I don't ever know.

Didn't expect much from tonight's game after our collapse against Brentford... was hoping for some fighting spirit obviously off the back of that defeat but they don't look like they can muster the required effort...

Effort is sort of there, just zero composure. The lot of them look as if they are playing anxious with their pressing, which is the polar opposite of the calculated pressing we saw earlier in the season.

Mendy error the dagger.

No away goal rule so there is always a chance, although the entire back line doesn't give me any confidence. So much uncertainty with the club you'd think its finally had an affect on the players with the performance.

What's that 36 in 36 for Benzema? Mad.

Benzema sure to celebrate with another underage prostitute, or maybe he will blackmail one of his teammates again?

@Berserker always said that Real would have been better off keeping Higuain and fucking off Benzema. Deluded to think the pie deleter can lace the bald bad teen smashers boots.

Benzema reminding the British media why it was stupid to leave him out of the “best player in the world” chat.

He (Benzema) has literally become Real Madrid all by himself. Not to disrespect other names in that side but the stats and the visual impact of that side with and without him has become a major topic of debate in Spain’s football media. No bigger example than the huge defeat Real suffered at the Santiago Bernabéu a couple of weeks back against Barcelona (0-4). They looked empty of ideas and without a reference.

Benzema has become more than just goals for Real. He is also the reference point of interaction up front and without him everything breaks down. He is an absolutely marvellous footballer, not just striker.
