Borussia Dortmund's England winger Jadon Sancho has agreed to a new contract with the Bundesliga club worth about £190,000 a week, including bonuses.

The 19-year-old, who was the subject of summer interest from Manchester United, scored 13 goals last season as Dortmund finished second behind Bayern Munich.

Sancho also scored in their opening league game this term - Saturday's 5-1 win over Augsburg.

Signed from Manchester City in 2017, his previous deal ran until 2022.

Sancho, who was part of Watford's academy before joining City, made his England debut against Croatia in October 2018 and has six caps.

Wonder what the buy out clause is? I'd be amazed if he's there in 12 months time

Never mind, it seems they only increased his wages but the length of the contract hasn't changed so it's not a contract extension as it's still valid until 2022.

According to BVB there's no buy out clause; they removed it in exchange for higher wages apparently.

Sancho is probably worth 200 million Euros in today's transfer market, with all things considered.

Pay close to £10m in his wages this year (not taken out what will be taxed) and then sell for £100m plus, seems worth it

I know it was only a friendly, but nice to see BVB taking it seriously and a 5-0 win at Cottbus with 5 strange names all scoring (obviously not strange to BVB fans) shows that the squad are ready to challenge the seniors for a place - wish I could say the same about the game in Koln!

Great performance last night from young Mr Sancho for England. Ignored or cast off by English Clubs I hope they will not now try and upset his game and concentration by constantly offering him a contract back in England.  His time so far at BVB has not only been a great learning session for him, but he is part of a good team and well liked (loved even) by the fans.  Just let him get on doing what he is great at and don't mess with the young guy's head with silly promises of fame and fortune - he has that already thank you!
