Given Wolves are at Anfield we'll almost certainly finish 8th if we win this game. That actually looks fairly respectable. I have to say, it's a bit of a hoodwink, but it's lifted some of the clouds somewhat.

I'm quite confident we'll win too. Southampton have been appalling lately.

hoping to sign off the season with a good performance against Burnley.  i don't believe in on the beach mentality and if it was the case we would have been poor against Arsenal.  it's a football game and a winnable one at that.

Does Donny van der Bench still exist?

You still get United fans telling you he’s the best thing since sliced bread. He was fucking useless from what I saw. Ten Hag may give him a new lease of life though.

In fairness, he can't do much if he doesn't play.

Van de Beek has spent most of his loan spell injured which is disappointing. I imagine he'll stay at Man Utd now and if his old mate ten Hag can't get something out of him that's pretty much the end of any excuses on his part. He did alright when he first came, one particularly good game against Leeds but otherwise nothing special. There was talk of making the move permanent if he did well but I'd honestly be concerned to see us trying too hard to go big on signing him.

When he did, he looked dire. There’s a reason he can’t get a game for Everton either. I reckon it’s because he’s just a bit shit.

Ten Haag fixed Klaasen,  or the Eiredivisie is just a very low quality league.
