Should perhaps concentrate on doing more than the absolute bare minimum on the pitch.

I don't disagree!

Salah looking like a mug now with that “Redemption” social media post whilst having his worst performance ever in a Liverpool kit.

Was that his worst performance ever? He did pretty much all he could. Only bettered by a keeper in world class form.

Honestly you can’t really chuck European Royalty banners around when your best player claims he’s playing for revenge and can’t lay a glove on Real Madrid. That’s not against Liverpool that’s just facts.

Feel like Firminho should have started but that’s a thought in hindsight.

They beat 3 top English sides and PSG. More evidence that only the Spurs front 3 can conquer this Real side.

You know it my friend.

If only Liverpool had got Kulusevski in Jan, might have won the treble

Do feel sorry for scousers supporting Liverpool. Very easy to laugh tonight surrounded by Reds called Harry from Hertfordshire but Liverpool fans from the city or connected this could have been massive.

The whole midfield and attack were poor. We were on top enough and should have scored. They had two chances and put both in the net. Salah has been poor since January.

The BT Sport commentator was all about Courtois being in amazing form. I think it's borderline between that, and him never being troubled well enough. Just as borderline if something just didn't ever really click for Liverpool on the night, or Real prevented them from playing their best.

It felt odd to me for large phases of the game. Liverpool were having so much possession. But Real Madrid were always, always in the match. Like a classic Italian side of the past. Solidity first. Nick things on the counter. Which seems to be their style right now with their current squad. All apparently with the strong belief they truly are Real Madrid. And fair play to them, they won that trophy the hard & scenic route.

One thing that’s been put to bed is that Mo Salah is nowhere near beat player in the world. The fact people had him alongside Benzema is mental so early on

Because the Madrid keeper kept his shots out?

He absolutely was the best player in the world during his form in the first half of the season, when those claims were made. Benzema has had a better 2022.

He made 3 or 4 top class saves. He was troubled on quite a few occasions but dealt with it as a goalkeeper in a final should.

Because Benzema has been a better player all season. Being honest Benzema being better had little to do with tonight but if you’re gunna give it the bigen like Salah has you have to at least score a goal
