Pyunik 2–2 (4–3 p) CFR Cluj

Maribor 2–0 Shakhtyor Soligorsk

Ludogorets Razgrad 3–0 Sutjeska Nikšić

F91 Dudelange 3–1 Tirana

Tobol 1–5 Ferencváros

Malmö FF 6–5 Víkingur Reykjavík

Ballkani 1–2 Žalgiris

HJK 2–2 (5–4 p) RFS

Bodø/Glimt 4–3 KÍ Klaksvík

The New Saints 1–2 Linfield

Shamrock Rovers 3–0 Hibernians

Lech Poznań 2–5 Qarabağ

Shkupi 3–2 Lincoln Red Imps

Zrinjski 0–1 Sheriff Tiraspol

Slovan Bratislava 2–1 Dinamo Batumi

A couple of narrow victories for a number of teams that were in group stage football last year.

Malmo edge through against Iceland's champions, and Bodø/Glimt have their comfortable home victory to thank after being humbled in the Faroe Islands. And after beating Real Madrid last year, Sheriff have a narrow win over Bosnia's champions to get through.

The biggest shock, in terms of the coefficient, was Armenia's Pyunik knocking out the Romanian champions CFR Cluj.

Third Round qualifying draw made. Potential Scandinavian tie if Bodø/Glimt and Malmö both make it through.

Monaco Vs PSV is probably the tie of the round, whilst Belgian runners up Union SG play Rangers.

Malmö, after their group stage appearance last season, are making life hard for themselves this season. Edged through against Icelandic opposition in the first round, and now trail after losing the first leg in Lithuania.

One quick question the next round for Bodo is Zalgiris. Is that the final round before the group stage or is there an extra round?

Nope. It's the final stages of the qualifying round. Then there's a play-off round. Then the group stage.

Ah right so one more after this, i thought so but i wasn't sure. Bodo smashed Roma last season in Europe? Or the season before and now making their way to the group stages. i fancy them against Zalgiris.

Last season in group stages of the Europa Conference League. Roma had the last laugh winning the competition though...

Great win for Dynamo Kyiv last night away to Fenerbahce. Buyalsky and Karavaev scored the crucial goals in Kyiv's 2-1 win. The Ukrainian side battled well and deserved to win and advance. However, it was disappointing to hear the Fenerbahce supporters chant Putin's name, once they were losing. That left a bad taste in the mouth to be honest. But Dynamo Kyiv will next face Austrian side Sturm Graz. Graz are a very decent side, but Dynamo will feel very confident that they can overcome them and qualify for the group stage.

Buyalsky's goal:

Karavaev's goal:

Fenerbahce fans chanting Putin's name, much to the annoyance of the Ukrainians at the stadium:

Glimt beat Roma in the home game of the quarter finals as well (2-1). Lost the return leg in Roma 0-4 though.

Well Dynamo Kyiv are leading at half-time through Karavayev's 28th minute volleyed goal. A Dynamo Kyiv cross was whipped into the Graz area from the left flank, Besedin flicked a header towards Karavayev, who powerfully volleyed home the ball with his left foot. Great goal that from Dynamo Kyiv.

At half-time: Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 Sturm Graz

Well it finishes Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 Sturm Graz in Lodz, Poland. Dynamo Kyiv could have added to their lead with the chances that they had in the 2nd half, but in the end, they will be content with this first leg result. The 2nd leg takes place next week, on the 9th of August in Graz, Austria.

Final score: Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 Sturm Graz
