The usual predictions for your club just before the new season.

My club: Leicester City
Final league position: 7th
Player of the season: James Maddison or Wesley Fofana
Best goalscorer: Patson Daka
Most appearances: Kasper Schmeichel
Best new signing: Ha. No new signings yet!
Biggest flop: Vestergaard or Amartey if they stay.
Biggest surprise: That we sign someone.
Manager change (yes/no): Yes - as much as I think he should stay and treat this season as new, there's some fans who will crank up the pressure on him the moment we go into a little slump, even more so if we don't have the best of starts. If we're not in top 7/8 or even close to it by perhaps when the World Cup starts, then I think his days will be numbered.

Edit: IF, we do get Frankie de Jong then he would be my player of the season

Surprised you've got 7th down tbh, hearing Rodgers say you need about 5/6 signings to be competitive near the top and you're yet to bring anyone in...plus your squad seems like it needs a bit of a refresh

The way the Glazers run this club you never know, they could have Ole stored in a room under lock and key and return him if Jen Hag is a flop.  O.o

So therefore there would be a manager change xD

It's primarily based on there being no European football. As much as I've loved the seasons we've played in it, and want the club to be back in any European competition, there's a plus to having longer breaks between fixtures. A squad like ours has had a relentless schedule for nearly two years running. For me, that's been one of the biggest causes of our squad being consistently depleted with injuries. Relatively longer breaks between fixtures means better and longer recovery time.

Therefore hopefully more consistent squad selections and players can get some momentum and fluidity.

Rodgers has said that about 5-6 signing (a while back) but things appear to have changed in the background since then. I think the squad does need a refresh but not over one summer. I'd like to see at least 2-3 signings come in (a CB and RW) but it appears in order for that to happen, players need to be sold. Those players I'd look to get rid of first are Vestergaard, Bertrand, Soyuncu, Amartey, Choudhury. Players that don't really make an impact and ones that we could get off the wage-bill and get relatively good fees for.

It's frustrating we're heading towards end of July with no-one new though - I think we've missed out on some good players as a result.

Ironically, I think next summer will be chaotic for us. Quite a few players either nearing end of their contracts or end of their careers.

My club: Saarbrücken
Final league position: 2nd - 5th
Player of the season: Manuel Zeitz
Best goalscorer: Adriano Grimaldi
Most appearances: Daniel Batz
Best new signing: Depends on how you define best, if only active contribution on pitch is considered probably Richard Neudecker. If you also evaluate soft components, like adding experience, off pitch influence on the squad's attitude, mentoring younger players, and identification with the club and their fans it might actually be our returned home grown player Mike Frantz, although he's not the youngest any more.
Biggest flop: Optimistic enough, to dare the prognosis there will be no such thing.
Biggest surprise: Mike Frantz still having the legs for a reasonable pitch time in 3.Liga although he's becoming 36 in October.
Manager change (yes/no):  Pretty sure no is the answer, unless something unforeseen happens to Koschinat's state of health.

I didn't know Frantz went back.  Nice addition.

My club: Leeds United

Final league position: 17th

Player of the season: I think Joe Gelhardt will have a breakout season next year, really looks the real deal but also fancy Rasmus Kristenssen to be solid for us.

Best goalscorer: Bamford, if he stays fit. That is a big if though.

Most appearances: Illan Meslier. Got to be a 'keeper hasn't it and he's only getting better.

Best new signing: Luis Sinisterra. Looked a great player for Feyenoord last season so hopefully we've uncovered another gem.

Biggest flop: Junior Firpo/Dan James. Firpo is horrendous, picks up easy bookings because he can't tackle and get's caught out of position. Definite weakness in our team.

James is frustrating because his end product often disappoints, however, ill give him the benefit of another season mind given he had to play out of position a lot last season.

Biggest surprise: Marc Roca. Can't say I know much about him but I like what I've seen so far and am hoping once he hits the groove, he really makes our midfield tick without Phillips. Could be a key player.

Manager change (yes/no) I'm going to be optimistic and say no. I believe we'll be ok and improve on last season, therefore despite being favourite to be sacked next, Marsch will stay.

@Lucas think you’ll be in a relegation battle this season? Big ask to replace Raphinha and Phillips in one season

Sinisterra looks a very good buy to replace Raphinha though.

It's the safety and security of Phillips in DM which is where I think they'll miss the most.

We may well do, but I don't think we'll drop, nor do I think we'd leave it as late as we did to survive last season. My main concern is goals in the team mind, I do think we look short.

Obviously we will miss those two massively, especially Raphinha's attacking numbers. Not sure Phillips would have been the same player for us under Marsch's system.

Bit of an unknown quantity now with a lot of players unproven in the league we have brought in. Going to be interesting to see how they adapt. I don't expect them all to work out.

But we had some horrendous luck last season with injuries, surely won't happen again. Lots of pressure on Bamford for goals though, bit worried until we get this other striker in. We can't rely on his fitness.

Hopefully we'll be ok mind.

My club: Everton
Final league position: 15th
Player of the season: Anthony Gordon
Best goalscorer: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Most appearances: Jordan Pickford
Best new signing: James Tarkowski (our only signing currently)
Biggest flop: Whoever Farhad Moshiri agrees to loan to the club in January as a favour to an agent he's mates with in a position in the squad we don't need to fill.
Biggest surprise: Dele Alli
Manager change (yes/no): I hope not but the way this transfer window has gone we'll be dangerously close to the bottom three at some point this season and the manager will be the latest to pay the price for years of awful decision making at board level.

My club: Liverpool
Final league position: Somewhere in the top 4 probably
Player of the season: Mohammed Salah
Best goalscorer: Mohammed Salah
Most appearances: Virgil Van Dijk or Andy Robertson probably
Best new signing: Darwin Nunez hopefully
Biggest flop: Idk but I'll say Naby Keita - I think it's a make or break season for him and I just don't think he'll stay healthy enough
Biggest surprise: Curtis Jones or Harvey Elliot
Manager change (yes/no): No

Some good buys but must be difficult to have to replace two very important players and hope the replacements hit the ground running. Outside of Raphinha and Phillips you didn’t really have a lot of quality in the team
