Yes mate, it's practically a done deal. Fortuna Dusseldorf will pay around £400,000 plus add-ons to buy him. It sounds like a very good deal for them in my opinion. Here is a more recent article, which just about confirms that it is almost certain that Peterson will be joining Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Nice! Just saw on Wikipedia that he used to be in Liverpool's youth system, so there must definitely be some kind of talent in him. :D

Yes, he started out at Liverpool, well he spent 3 years there as a teenager, then moved on. So yeah, he is clearly a little special at this level.

Here is some youtube footage of him ripping it up in the Dutch league for Heracles. I know it's only the Dutch league(no disrespect intended), but his skills and scoring ability ain't bad.

Wow, I'm not trying to get too hyped up by a youtube video, but he really looks good. Some nice shots there. :o

Aaaand another one. Centre back. U21 Austrian International Christoph Klarer from Southampton signed a deal until 2024.

@nudge you know him since he's Austrian and all that?

Can't really tell anything as he barely played in the Austrian Bundesliga at all...

@Tommy if it helps though, St. Pölten fans were completely in awe of his performances for them and had him down as their player of the season despite him joining only for a few months on loan last winter. Says a lot, especially since St. Pölten were in relegation battle almost until the very end of the season.

Thank you, that does sound promising. Now we don't have any kind of creativity in midfield, but at least we have 4-5 capable centre backs. Die Null muss stehen!

Former Russian Under 21 goalkeeper Anton Mitryushkin is apparently in talks with Fortuna Dusseldorf over a possible move to the German club. Mitryushkin who is 24 years old, is currently a free agent, but he has played for clubs such as FC Sion of Switzerland and Spartak Moscow of Russia in the past.

Yup, apparently he's on trial with us since our 3rd choice goalkeeper has a long term injury.

Also, in other news Dawid Kownacki is injured AGAIN, and won't be able to play for several weeks. He has the worst luck.

Young talented center back Jamil Siebert signed a pro contract until 2024, even though Dortmund were reportedly interested in him. He's been with Fortuna since he was 9 years old. :)
