off Limewire

I remember trying to download a movie, and it ended up being porn. TOTAL ANAL was the name. I remember it as if it was yesterday. Quite disappointing.

I remember the first time I found porn.  Then accidently left a pop-up window on the taskbar and went about my merry way.

My first purchase was probably a book.  I was really into pulp fantasy and many of the books I was trying to find were out of print.  There was a used bookstore called The Dragon's Trove that I ordered from regularly.  I remember having to write out a check and mail it to them and then they would mail my books to me.  Good times.

Never actually used Limewire. It was all about FTP servers at first, and then Napster, DC++ and eMule. Good times.

You ever used Ares or Bit Torrent back then?

Have never used Ares, actually had to google it as I haven't even heard of it 😅 BitTorrent, yes sure, but only occasionally. I always prefered using file hosting services instead of P2P, especially back in the days when RapidShare and Megaupload were at their best before all the crackdowns later on.
