Max, 5 pace grid penalty.

Perez has a 10 place grid penalty.

Sainz has a 25 place grid penalty.

Lewis will be with Sainz at the back of the grid.

Yuki has a 100 place grid penalty.

Bottas has a 15 place grid penalty.

Leclerc at the front, Ferrari still mess up the strategy and then Leclerc ends up at the back of the grid.

Latifi out qualified by debutant De Vries who gets into Q2.

Haas occupying the back row after Magnussen has two times deleted for track limits and Mick locked up into turn one on both his laps after having barely any practice. Aston Martins also both out. Max fastest.

McLaren have a chance to rejuvenate a rather mediocre season.   Norris bashed alpine for McLaren being bad, the McLaren has always been better than alpine, alpine just have better drivers.

The Mclaren car is inconsistent whereas Alpine are always there or thereabouts as the best car outside the top three. The McLaren has been faster at many races but the Alpine is the better car overall. Norris and Alonso you can trust to get more or less the best result possible but Alonso is behind on points because of bad luck and reliability. Ocon isn't far behind these two but Ricciardo is miles off. I'd rather have Alpine's driver than Mclaren's for sure. The Mclaren car isn't better. Norris is right that the main reason the teams are close in the championship is that Alpine spent so much of the early season "doing a Ferrari" on so many of Alonso's races.
