West Ham away in Xmas eve. Die.

Premier League trying to get Leicester vs Utd moved to Xmas Eve as well. Cunts.

Things that work in our favour is that Leicester Tigers play at home on 24th Dec as well and due to policing numbers we don't usually play at home on the same day as them.

Apparently the 'Safety Advisory Group' have the final say on it and to be honest I hope they stick 2 fingers up to the Premier League.

Would it mean scrapping the boxing day game? Surely they're not allowed to bunch fixtures closer together for no reason?

i'm hoping so! Wouldn't surprise me if they've given that no thought at all though.

They'll manage to move ours. Guarantee it. Thought the whole thing fell brilliantly for me personally so they're bound to fuck it all up.

Shouldn't even be considered. Just fuck that weekend off and let them have a couple extra over the season if they have to.

We'll cave in though no doubt.

As well Tigers' game is on BT Sport, so that may work in our favour.

They're trying to swap them apparently.

Imagine if they tried to get both playing at home on Christmas eve. It would be only second to the trophy parade in how manic it would be. Traffic in Leicester's bad enough with any one of the three, let alone all.

It's disgraceful to be honest. Just leave it alone to have no fixtures played Xmas Eve as well as Xmas day (wouldn't surprise me if in future they tried this too).

Boxing day is hard enough with reduced travel services.

Labour MP Tom Watson has sent a letter to Richard Scudamore asking to reconsider moving the games to Xmas Eve

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41564944

Premier League agree no game will kick off at 4pm or later on that day. Which says to me they've already decided to move games but will have them played at an earlier time

jesus, has anyone met such an insufferable prick as this fella?

You cry and randomly mention me. I reply and then you cry again. This is great fun.

You'll probably start slitting your wrists if the 3pm media blackout was ever scrapped you bitter, soft, pathetic clown. xD

This does alter many things for those that do go to matches though...  It's sad to see because there are still many match going fans that are pushed to the limits aside from this and it does leave them as meaningless entities more and more.  But fans' support for their clubs somehow always seems to rise above this which is still good to see.

Safe to say Liverpool have been royally fucked with the Bournemouth game being moved to a Sunday afternoon. Long trek back up with reduced travel on Sundays anyway. Newcastle's game at Chelsea means they're still without a 3pm away game?!

I can tolerate ours. I'm a bit annoyed about the Palace game as it's the Christmas do the night before which always ends up being a big one, literally the one kick off time I didn't want. Man Utd isn't ideal, shit for their fans to be honest, but give me that over Christmas Eve. Newcastle away half 5 is great.

They're also making us wait til May to play Spurs so they can put it on tv. It was originally meant to be played last weekend but spurs had an fa cup game. They're out of europe so there is a lot of midweek availability but sky want it and it cant clash with CL fixtures.
