So it looks like Bundesliga is as pathetic as the Premier League when it comes to using VAR. That goal decision needed some common sense, Kimmich went down so easily off the slightest of tugs on his shoulder, no where near enough to actually infringe him.

On the whole I think German refs are much better than in England, but this weekend was not a good example of that.  Several bad calls stemming from VAR so I can see why one might come to that conclusion.  I'm trying to remember the other calls... might have been Füllkrug's goal in the Bremen match.  I think Kiel had a goal chalked off as well that seemed perfectly legit to me.

Interesting to read this weekend's comments - I tend to feel a little similar to nudge after both performances were dreadful.  Our man seems unable to remove the garbage that is giving us problems by picking the same useless players again and again - very much in the 'Tedesco' style of management.  Bochum were not very good and any decent team would have done what Bayern did to them - the fact that we managed to scrape 3 points out of the game is simply covering up the basic problems and they are not being addressed - e.g. Bulter is playing every game with the wrong shirt on - his errors and lack of ability to pass even the simplest ball is frightening. Thiaw and Harit have gone  - why?

My visit in October now means that I will not be able to see the game - I have a Friday Night Civic Dinner - now the game has been fixed for Friday - probably they could be doing me a favour!!!  As I am staying over the weekend perhaps I might get chance to see the Sunday noon game at Fortuna - any thoughts Tommy????

I watched the Kiel v. HSV match and didn't realize that Timo Becker had left Schalke as well.
