In an otherwise successful Saturday for the squad, @N U F C and @6666 were the only casualties, with Dortmund's 3-2 defeat at Mainz to blame for their dismissal. Both of Sunday's fixtures claimed further victims, with @Viva la FCB and @Rucksackfranzose slipping up on home turf by backing Hoffenheim ahead of their 1-1 draw at Hertha Berlin, before Schalke's late defeat at home to Augsburg consigned @Beelzebub and @Pyfish to the sidelines until the start of the next round. Unlucky folks, that's a pointless round for you guys, look out for the start of Round Three. Survivors (16) Late to make their picks but the first ones over the first hurdle, @DeadLinesman and @Michael cleared the first hurdle courtesy of Bayern's 4-0 success over Bayer Leverkusen on Friday evening. RB Leipzig were the overwhelming favourite pick this week, their four-goal thrashing of Bochum seeing @Stan, @Dan, @The Liquidator, @RandoEFC, @CaaC (John), @Rick, @Storts, @Redcanuck, @Bluewolf, @Lucas and @...Dan into Gameweek Two. Freiburg were the only other team to see successful backing this weekend and their victory wasn't quite as emphatic, but a 2-1 defeat of Mainz is still enough to see @nudge, @Whiskey and @Tommy safely through.
