Which Player Has The Worst Attitude In The Premier League?

Just talking to a mate about this and Arnautovic surely has to be up there?

Possibly not the worst but he strikes me as one player not to be around or not want to have him in your team if it's not going well on the pitch. Always seems to sulk in some way.

Lukaku, Barkley, Costa, Yaya, Rooney, Nolito, are off the top of my head players I'm not particularly fond of.

why Lukaku and Barkley out of interest?

Jermaine Pennant was always a cock.

To be fair to him he always gave 100% for Stoke.

Steve Mandanda has had a shockingly attitude this year. Told both Allardyce and De Boer he wants out as they arrived and is currently training in France whilst contracted to us.

Jimmy Kebe is the worst we've had in The Premiership. Warmed down in flip flops, and used his wages to become a casino player. Essentially gave up two months in to his three year contract which we had to pay off.

Neil Alexander also joined us and on the day he signed said he wanted to stay at Rangers. He never played a league game after that.

Never liked Lukaku since he first joined Chelsea. He was always complaining about game time, he was moody after the CL win, and constantly whinged to the media. It never seems to be good enough for Lukaku, something is always wrong. I think he has a spoiled child mindset. Barkley, mainly because of his entire contract saga. Harry Kewell, Lucas Neil, Nicholas Anelka, Nile Ranger, Hatem ben Arfa, young Didier Drogba and young Arjen Robben, are PL alumni with poor attitudes. I swear people used to loathe Drogba, Chelsea fans included.

Other players like Terry, Ferdinand, Suarez, and Cole have done something pretty fucking stupid things but it never felt like they had rotten personalities or attitudes. Terry cuts it close but he also has a very sincere side that was centre-stage during his retirement speech.

Drogba was such an irritating player because he would take a dive at every possible opportunity, despite being a pretty physical player in a physical league. He was very easy to hate because he'd go down faster than a cheap hooker under any contact, but then he'd smash the fuck out of your defenders so you'd know he was collapsing to win penalties and free kicks around the box.

I don't know if I'd put any of that as poor attitudes though, compared to the likes of someone like El Hadji Diouf, who wasn't just a bastard in the way he played, but was genuinely a horrible person who happened to play football, or someone like Balotelli (for us at least) who couldn't be arsed ever, or someone like Winson Borgarde who decided it was better to not play and just collect money for being useless than to further his football career. The fact that Borgarde is now a youth coach is totally laughable, tbh, and he wants to be a first team manager one day. I think that's totally fucking mental - I can't see how he could ever tell any of his players not to be lazy bastards. It's what his career is most famous for, I'd say.

If we're talking anytime, then Balotelli would be out in front for me. No question.

But if we are talking currently, I'd have to say Sturridge. He's happy as larry when it's all going well but a terrible, disinterested, lazy fuck when it's not. I don't think he's a team player either, very much plays as an individual. I've always questioned his attitude since he was at City and then Chelsea. Genuinely believe he thinks he's better than what he actually is too.

Why should he be on the list?

The two times he threatened to leave United for City and Chelsea.

Stomping around like a child, perfectly exempligying his leadership skills.

Arnautovic isn't a bad shout. He always supposedly had similar issues in Germany, a lot of talent but not got the mentality to be as good as he ought to be - wouldn't be surprised if that's the case with a few Stoke players.

The teams with the worst attitudes are often those who totally fold when they go behind.

Balotelli just wasn't a serious player. He could entertain but I cannot believe any manager would seriously go near the lad. I'd have doubts about any manager who has signed him in the knowledge of his attitude.

At Leicester... two players I'd question. Riyad Mahrez & Demarai Gray. Mahrez' body language at times last season was poor. I've defended him even for his frustrations as this is a massively talented player who basically pissed this last season down the drain. We were terribly managed for most of last season and it can be mentally draining. Gray... strikes me as a bit of a sulker when it doesn't go his way. I do have some sympathy as Mahrez was often disappointing and Gray rarely got a look in. I do wonder if he gets given a proper chance, might he explode onto the scene, but I think he's a bit greedy in his play and that in itself is a flaw.

All time, I think Bendtner has Balotelli beat. Currently, maybe Yaya Toure.

People saying Ozil must be brain dead. Probably falling for the British media's "he just walks around the pitch" nonsense when in reality he runs around more than Sanchez who just shows a lot of energy in bursts. The Britsh football media really are shit at analysing football. (Must be why Gary Neville is seen as a genius because the standard is so low.)

You've watched more of him than me or Lucas but I can't say I disagree with it. Based on England as well he's always had a bit of an arrogance about him.

He wasn't a perfect player. But overall I don't think I  would say he had a bad attitude

There's a massive difference between a bit of arrogance and having the worst attitude in the Premier League.
