Try playing this team every year...Afcon, WC qualifiers...over and over..and this is the same basic game they play. Tunisia should have scored but Denmark should have won... There'll be shitloads of uproar no doubt but there's 2 reasons I think that's not been given. One being the foul you mention. Two being it ricochets off another part of his body onto his arm. Tunesia were the better side in the 1st half, with Ladouni having a snap shot in the area fly narrowly over the Danish crossbar. Then Jabali forced Schmeichel into an amazing close range save, as the Danish keeper stuck out his right hand to block a goal bound shot. Denmark though were much the better team in the 2nd half. Skov Olsen had the ball in the net early in the restart, but it was correctly ruled out for offside. But Denmark's Eriksen then forced Tunisian keeper Dahmen into an excellent save, with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area. But Denmark's best chance of the match came when Christiansen headed the ball across the face of the Tunisian goal and the ball found Cornelius unmarked, but the forward's close range diving header hit the post. The Danes of course had that penalty appeal right at the end, but the referee correctly judged it not to be a penalty. Although Tunisa started the match well, Denmark in the end will feel disappointed they didn't win the match. They had the bulk of the possession, and they really should have scored through Cornelius. I personally think that Denmark should start with Damsgaard, Jensen and Lindstrom in their line-up for the next match, as they all played very well when they came on as substitutes today.
