The most shocking news came later, when Rede Globo announced the dismissal of Mauro Naves, one of the most famous and respected sports journalist in Brazil. According to Globo, Mauro Naves leaked Neymar´s dad phone number to the girl´s lawyer in exchange for exclusive informations regarding the case. This was even the case with Messi in his younger days, who was massively injury prone and Steven Gerrard was another as well. Yet look how great their careers ended up panning out. The talent is there and there is no reason why Dembele can't reach a similar level to what Neymar did at the club if he can stay injury free. The talent is certainly there and he was demonstrating this last season when he had a period where he stayed fit, look at some of the goals he scored, some of the moves...what he brings is just what the team are lacking. Don't get me wrong, talent wise, Neymar at his best would benefit Barcelona greatly and the team would have probably gotten through both Liverpool and Roma as he would have scored atleast a goal over both ties, he's that type of player, he can chip in and make a difference. But I'm not sure he would come back the same player, he has also burnt a lot of bridges and it seems as though the club would be being a mug by allowing him back. As for Griezmann, I'm not sure he is the type of player what is needed right now, but if he is to join the club, then he should be welcomed like any new player. The rumours backed by statements Naseer Al-Kheleif has made in the past hours backs the rumour. Apparently they’re sick and tired of him and the bad press he has brought the club with very little productivity on the project they’re searching to execute.
