History repeating itself from when we went out to Newport a few seasons ago. Paddy Flynn is their manager. He was Newport manager. Jamille Matt is a recent new signing. He played and scored for Newport. Walsall are currently mid-table in League Two. Newport were 12th back then.

Happy Blue 1,777 Posted Friday at 19:47 Share Posted Friday at 19:47 Important game, we get to have our first look at Arsenal this season and try a few things out and the winners will have a leg up in the mind games
Devil 1,006 Posted Friday at 20:07 Share Posted Friday at 20:07 Trossard 20 million. An absolute steal that is. Annoys me when United don't go for obviously decent players for peanuts.

Happy Blue 1,777 Posted Friday at 20:44 Share Posted Friday at 20:44 Foden's been class for most the season, hattrick against united etc, Dias has not played much due to injury, Bernardo been a bit hit and miss but runs around like a mad man pressing teams

Devil 1,006 Posted Friday at 21:59 Share Posted Friday at 21:59 Providing we get through I'd like City in the next round. May as well get it out of the way early on in the competition rather have the pain of potentially losing a final.

I'd rather we play you before a potential final.

6666 1,229 Posted Friday at 22:32 Share Posted Friday at 22:32 Not much between the teams and I don't think either team showed much of what they're capable of. Was expecting it to be easier for Man City looking at the line-ups but it was still a nice finish from Ake to win it for them.
OrangeKhrush 245 Posted Saturday at 09:21 Share Posted Saturday at 09:21 Arsenal will take pride in that they did give City a run with a second string and while the FA is a nice one to win in context of this season Arsenal may be happy to go out and have less games to play. I am sure this will affect Arsenal as they are in European competition but there was something that come up if we are to play Man United in the Carabao Cup final, we will play 4 games while Man United will have 8 games, which is quite a big difference in games. Right now the league should be Arsenal's priority.

Stan 16,945 Posted Saturday at 14:27 Author Share Posted Saturday at 14:27 Job done, much better in the 2nd half and created lots of chances. Concerning we didn't finish more of them and that it took a deflected shot to score, and could have made it more comfortable with the scoreline. Main thing is we're through. But we do have to raise our performance, especially in the first half of games, if we are to be satisfied.

Pyfish 2,543 Posted Saturday at 16:18 Share Posted Saturday at 16:18 1-1 for us now as Luton got themselves a penalty. Happy with our performance so far considering we couldn't fill our bench and we're short of strikers.
