Subscriber RandoEFC+ 7,644 Posted June 6, 2023 Author Subscriber Share Posted June 6, 2023 Results - Spanish Grand Prix One of the most uniform set of predictions we've ever seen in this competition sees most of the field effectively cancel each other out in this cagey competition. Apart from @Eco, who didn't predict, and @JoshBRFC, who went a different way entirely with his predictions, everyone secured 15 points from Max Verstappen's pole position and race win, including a correct prediction of 1st place as the Dutchman took his mandatory turn as this week's random driver. The only variety came elsewhere, starting with @JoshBRFC who was the only one to bag 5 points for correctly predicting a 2nd place for Lewis Hamilton. @MUFC and @Coma were two of the handful of competitors who managed to eke out another couple of points this week by predicting Hamilton on the podium but in the wrong position. Nobody predicted a George Russell podium, leaving us with a sea of red Perez and Alonso predictions. This week's bonus question focused on how many points the two home race drivers, Alonso and Sainz, would score between them. Nobody predicted as low as their ultimate total of 16, meaning that @RandoEFC and @The Palace Fan were the closest, guessing 21 points, meaning that they score an extra 2 points in this week's predictions and end up as joint top scorers. Unsurprisingly, there is little change in the two championships this weekend. @Coma stretches his lead at the top of the Drivers' Championship from 1 point to 3, ahead of @Stan and @RandoEFC in joint 2nd. The only change of position sees @JoshBRFC climb above the absent @Eco at the bottom of the table. There is no change in the Constructors' positions but @Coma and @Whiskey slightly increase Mercedes' margin at the top ahead of @nudge and @Stan's Ferraris.
