It was a clear statement that Thomas Tuchel made with his personnel decision in the dramatic Bundesliga final: Leon Goretzka initially had to make do with a bench seat, while Ryan Gravenberch was allowed to whirl around in midfield from the start. Its going to be interesting to see what happens here. Whether it ends up being Rice or someone else if we truely are looking for a 6 and shifting Kimmich more towards being an 8 we have a glutton of players and somethings going to give. Goretzka had a terrible year but I am hopeful he could bounce back, its just a game of numbers. With Laimer coming in and Sabitzer returning from loan we have to sell at least 2 players, likely between Goretzka, Gravenberch and Sabitzer.
