Comparing this side to the great Liverpool sides, they deserve to be mentioned alongside those based on what we've seen this season. It would be a great shame if this side didn't win anything this season nevermind the league. He and Gini make a massive argument for looking for value signings within the Premier league rather than picking the obvious choices from other leagues charge a much bigger premium. Yes, we need a trophy but this side couldn't have given any more to get that. We'd already be Champions in pretty much any other season. I hope we win one of them because this side deserves it.
