That's incredibly harsh!

Corberan sent off after he kicked the ball thinking it was out on the touchline.

Surely just a talking to?!

Guess it's one of those where it's harsh but if it's in the rules, there's not much choice.

Yeah, understandable. Think Corberan knew it as well. But seems outdated, or lacking common sense. He's not booted it away in anger, quite clearly just a misjudgement and innocent mistake.

We made hard work of that today really after such a dominant start, but we got over the line in the end.

For all our attacking play, it was actually pleasing to see us defensively grind out a win when under the cosh a little bit 2nd half. Definitely more resiliance and steel in the team now since Ampadu noved back to partner Rodon and Gruev came in. 7 clean sheets in 8 now.

Finally, we've just come through a period of nightmare schedulling which has seen us have to travel away to Plymouth twice (FA Cup replay), Bristol and Swansea in the space of 16 days.

The miles this team has had to do back and forth must have been draining but we've got on with it and won the lot which is as good as we could have hoped.

Just got to keep going now. Rest up, reset and go again Friday v Leicester. If we can keep this sort of run up, we'll give ourselves every chance of promotion.

Ah fuck. 2-0 to Boro.

Gonna be difficult to get the 3pts today.

Not good with Leeds away on the horizon.

What's your record like against Big clubs? Is it concerning for next season?

Beaten Southampton. Drawn with Ipswich twice. Lost vs Boro twice. Lost vs Leeds.

I would say lost vs Coventry but you said big clubs .

It is concerning, but we have a summer worth of positive and significant recruitment hopefully...

Just like that there's a decent chance next weekend that our lead at the top is wiped to 6 points. This isn't yet over. I think we'll do it, and I'm not going to go too hard on them over today, but the form of the others means despite our ridiculous form, there is still a race going on here.

We blew some ridiculous chances in that game today but we didn't help ourselves. Maresca's subs today were really bad. I felt like we were getting right on top of them and then stuttered our own growing momentum with bad subs. Cannon on the wing?

Millwall are in a similar position to Palace now. If the teams beneath them keep performing above expectations and they don't improve I can see them going down. Which was unthinkable under Gary Rowett.

I agree on Millwall. They look like they're going to me. 1 point from 7 games and it wasn't even that bad a run of fixtures either. While QPR and Sheffield Wednesday have been basically performing as 12th-15th level sides since Rohl and Cifuentes came in. The fact they've already rolled the dice on a new manager too.

Would love to know how many goals Southampton have conceded from playing out the back, and even more so how many times Bazunu has sold his players down the river. Terrible keeper.
