Big blow going into this without Konate. No timescale confirmed but the rumour is 5-6 weeks.

Interesting who Slot goes with alongside Van Dijk. I think it'll be Gomez.

Don't worry, you wont need defenders 🤣 we conceded 17 goals in the last 6 games lol

That's got to be about the worst XI we've ever named in the Premier League.

I hope RVN makes the decisions to banish the likes of Thomas and Soumare from the matchdays squads.

Only 3 attacking players on the pitch. Horrible.

They both need binning completely but what on earth do you do with this defence? There's not a single centre half of ours I rate. I'm undecided on Okoli. I'd want to see him alongside somebody reliable.

Faes is awful. Coady was a shocking buy. Vestergaard is extremely limited. The full backs are the worst in the division by a mile.

We are somehow 2 points off the top 2 but our football has been bottom half rubbish.    Eddie Howe will be lucky to see this season out.

Not quite...

Brentford will never have an easier win in the Premier League. I bet they couldn't believe the simplicity of it.

But why, again, have we had an international break and then sacked the manager after it rather than during? Meaning we get a sub 80 IQ 'care'taker in for a game who turns in a performance that I hand on my heart think I could better.

Absolutely demolished by fucking Brentford. Life under Top and Jon Rudkin.

Ridiculous behaviour from Leicester in this day and age. Sacking Cooper wasn't the sort of urgent action that would make it forgiveable to do so without a manager lined up to come in and take over within a couple of days.

Brentford away is far from the easiest fixture in the league but it's also not a Liverpool away type of fixture where you can write it off as unimportant. I'd expect you to lose there more often than not but getting something wouldn't have been out of the question if you went there with a proper manager in place.

It's their first ever win against us in the Premier League. Even in 2022/23 they didn't beat us and they were at a similar level.

4-1 a completely fair reflection.

That's one draw and four losses from our last five league games, conceding 13 goals. 18 in 6 games if you include the cup game.

Cooper was absolutely not the answer but Van Nistelrooy has made a mistake coming here I think. It's a shit side if you're honest and you can't trust those fucking clowns to fix it in January either. We got given the reprieve of reprieves a few months ago and it's clear that we've fucked it up yet again in the summer.

As I said in the LCFC thread - I cannot support this owner while he keeps Jon Rudkin in post.
