That Sheffield derby should be an absolute belter. Friday night, under the lights, at an old ground like Bramall Lane, cold snap in the air, two teams going hammer and tong at one another, all the makings of a proper Sheffield derby. I'm having some of that. The game at Hillsborough was terrific.

I also think it's a brilliant exclusive for Premier League fans to sit and watch as a reminder to what proper atmosphere's should be like. It's sad in some ways that this game is not at PL level but Brighton v Bournemouth is. C'est la vie.

steel city derby tonight!

Expecting a Blades win but can't imagine it'll be easy.

Slight dip in form recently and home side will want to get back in to the play-offs.  Sheff Weds have been seriously under-performing this season. First game in charge for Owls' new manager Jos Luhukay.

Huge game for us at home to 2nd place Shrewsbury tomorrow. We have dropped a few points lately despite staying unbeaten. On paper we should be comfortably beating them but they are just having one of those seasons where everything is going their way. We're struggling with injuries at the moment in midfield with Evans, Whittingham, Antonsson, Chapman and Gladwin all injured meaning one of two youngsters will partner Smallwood in central midfield unless Mowbray plays Bennett in the middle but then we are struggling for wide men. I'd also go with Graham upfront with Dack playing off him. The back 4 and goalkeeper is really settled though which is a positive and goals are coming from all areas of the pitch. I'd go for -

Raya

Nyambe Mulgrew Downing Williams

Bennett Tomlinson Smallwood Conway

Dack

Graham

Subs: Leutwiler, Caddis, Wharton, Travis, Armstrong, Nuttall, Samuel

Missed the first fifteen minutes. This has been awful so far. Lucas Joao's chip was decent, at a time when most would have just hammered it.

first 15 probably the best as well xD

Lundstram had a good chance early on. Wasn't he once highly rated at Everton? @Cannabis @HK85 @RandoEFC

Utter class in his first loan spell at Orient. His pass percentage was insanely high. He then went to Blackpool when they were on the slide then come back to Orient, where his already poor form got poorer.

We're 6 points off of Sheffield United (6th) with a game in hand, our next three games include Bolton, Reading and Norwich. If we have promotion ambitions then we need to be taking at least 7 points from those games, I'll be disappointed if Bolton get anything at Griffin Park as we should really be running them all over the place with the quality we have.

It's not as if they're a club where youd struggle to find a famous name either.

A thoroughly dull and disappointing derby, overall.

The first fixture at Hillsborough was game of the season so far, for the Championship, so the bar was set extremely high.

Disappointing game for us, now of course, the superior sheffield side again, Wednesday the underdogs.. and to be fair to them, they were well drilled and organised defensively, they made it a dull affair but a shrewd move from their new coach.
