Lucas 3,666
That Sheffield derby should be an absolute belter. Friday night, under the lights, at an old ground like Bramall Lane, cold snap in the air, two teams going hammer and tong at one another, all the makings of a proper Sheffield derby. I'm having some of that. The game at Hillsborough was terrific. I also think it's a brilliant exclusive for Premier League fans to sit and watch as a reminder to what proper atmosphere's should be like. It's sad in some ways that this game is not at PL level but Brighton v Bournemouth is. C'est la vie. Stan 16,967
you've also got MK Dons vs AFC Wimbledon which I'm surprised is not on TV.
Bluebird Hewitt 1,131
This is a great chance to get back to winning ways as Sunderland have been so so since Coleman was hired and have lost Grabban as well.

Stan 16,967
steel city derby tonight! Expecting a Blades win but can't imagine it'll be easy. Slight dip in form recently and home side will want to get back in to the play-offs. Sheff Weds have been seriously under-performing this season. First game in charge for Owls' new manager Jos Luhukay.
roversgirl 37
Huge game for us at home to 2nd place Shrewsbury tomorrow. We have dropped a few points lately despite staying unbeaten. On paper we should be comfortably beating them but they are just having one of those seasons where everything is going their way. We're struggling with injuries at the moment in midfield with Evans, Whittingham, Antonsson, Chapman and Gladwin all injured meaning one of two youngsters will partner Smallwood in central midfield unless Mowbray plays Bennett in the middle but then we are struggling for wide men. I'd also go with Graham upfront with Dack playing off him. The back 4 and goalkeeper is really settled though which is a positive and goals are coming from all areas of the pitch. I'd go for - Raya Nyambe Mulgrew Downing Williams Bennett Tomlinson Smallwood Conway Dack Graham Subs: Leutwiler, Caddis, Wharton, Travis, Armstrong, Nuttall, Samuel

Smiley Culture 1,650
Missed the first fifteen minutes. This has been awful so far. Lucas Joao's chip was decent, at a time when most would have just hammered it.
The Palace Fan 3,192
Lundstram had a good chance early on. Wasn't he once highly rated at Everton? @Cannabis @HK85 @RandoEFC

He then went to Blackpool when they were on the slide then come back to Orient, where his already poor form got poorer.

RandoEFC 7,199
Yeah he looked class when he was younger and had a couple of good loan spells but never broke into the first team. Wouldn't be surprised to see him eventually back in the Premier League at some point.
Stan 16,967
red card for Loovens. correct decision. No idea what Loovens is doing making that trip on Donaldson knowing you're on a booking.
Stan 16,967
quite a poor game overall. Atmosphere died down as the game died down too. Quality on show was not that watchable. New Owls boss set up well to get a point.

Danny 2,051
We're 6 points off of Sheffield United (6th) with a game in hand, our next three games include Bolton, Reading and Norwich. If we have promotion ambitions then we need to be taking at least 7 points from those games, I'll be disappointed if Bolton get anything at Griffin Park as we should really be running them all over the place with the quality we have. The first fixture at Hillsborough was game of the season so far, for the Championship, so the bar was set extremely high. Disappointing game for us, now of course, the superior sheffield side again, Wednesday the underdogs.. and to be fair to them, they were well drilled and organised defensively, they made it a dull affair but a shrewd move from their new coach. Fairy In Boots 576
Good result for us, still don’t like Bruce and think he’s holding this squad back.
Bluebird Hewitt 1,131
Cracking response, albeit against a very poor team. Unless Coleman pulls off a couple of quality signings, Sunderland are down. They didn't test Etheridge at all and that was with Jazz Richards and Paterson in midfield. Lucas 3,666
I have to hand it to our fans. Awful two weeks, stupid red card that cost us today despite a very good performance and they are there taking up the whole bottom tier of the side stand today at Ipswich. Unjustified result today for the team on the back of one player's lack of self discipline. Unless we strengthen this month, we will evaporate out of the playoff picture just like last season and that was hard enough to take. Spend some money Radrizzani. You can't sell Wood for £15m and think it will be ok. We need a striker. A proven one. Not some YouTube prodigy. End of story.
Danny 2,051
Good win and now 4 wins out of 5 in the league. Conflicting manager reports, our gaffer says we never looked like conceding and theirs says we were lucky. Looking forward to seeing the highlights. Pig on the Wing 289
Totally expected result, lethargic at best from everyone on the pitch. Back to normality with a bump. Brentford by most accounts were bang average, but were still very comfortable. At least Sunderland, Burton and Birmingham lost too.
