They are doing it for survival and because they know no different. They can't go into a supermarket and buy meat alternatives. Basically, how would you feel if before you was even born the date of your death had been decided. I’m just hungry. I Went pescatarian for a bit to see how I’d go health wise. I felt really good. Where I live though, there are very few options. I’ve got a few vegetarian cookbooks but not getting fresh ingredients out here in the regional communities makes it a little less appealing. I ate fish, eggs and dairy for about three weeks before going vegan.
