The Palace Fan 3,180
Fee estimated to be in the region of £14,000,000. It's definitely a position they needed to strengthen. Tomer Hemed has struggled, and whilst Glenn Murray has held the forte well at times he is 34. @VanPaddy I presume you've seen a bit of him, how do you think he will Do? Panna King 1,011
He is decent but not prolific, has some something about him and also is fairly strong, he did play as a left sided forward for PSV. Probably the equivalent to a Dutch Danny Welbeck. Edited January 22, 2018 by VanPaddy
Smiley Culture 1,650
Honestly not sure this is what they need. There's quite a lot of people saying Murray and Hemed aren't scoring, which is correct, but without any decent creative player that can give them opportunities to score, Brighton could have Harry Kane up front and they'd still struggle for goals. Pascal Gros hasn't done too badly. They probably need more players like him or that can match his level. Knockaert seems to have gone off the radar a little. Gross hasn't been awful but they can't rely on him.
Perseus 11
Brighton need more than a striker netting goals, the midfield and defence need to add to their tally. I thought Glenn Murray (scores mostly at home) was finished in the second half of last season, but he had had a new lease of life. Two seasons ago Dunk and Stephens contributed to the tally with about ten goals between them (with Zamora and Lualua). Locadia seems more like a longer term replacement. Away goals tally has been dire: six and three of those were against West Ham. Murray 3 (1 pen), Izquierdo 2, March 1. Woodwork 3 times though. Only two goals from set pieces, home and away, with 17 conceded from set pieces, half of them soft goals. This is why lots of points have been dropped and could get Brighton relegated.
