We will just walk away like we did with Sanchez & Hazard, 50 million is more than a fair price, that's round about what we paid for De Bruyne who had just been voted best player in Germany

Haha, you didn't walk away from Hazard. He chose us simply because we won the Champions league.

Us, United, and City all matched his wages

He wouldn’t get in our side. He plays the same position as Salah so he’d have to be content with being a quality back up.

He's a different player to Salah. He's nowhere near as direct but he's more creative. Play the same position but play it differently.

You said it yourself, they play in the same position. No way does he get in ahead of Salah.

xD

He said that before we were even involved! He joined us because of where we were positioned (european champions)and the project that was currently going on.

All three of us matched his wages, (he said it himself) and in terms of preference it was down to us and United, him obviously preferring the former.

I've watched, read, and listened to everything revolving his transfer as i was losing my shit at the possibility of signing him.

It is also said that Chelsea agreed to pay Hazard's agent the £7m he wanted and United refused. Not sure how true it is but that is United's story.

Considering how much you paid to Riola for Sanchez and Pogba, and aside the fact we tell agents to fuck off when it comes to them receiving hefty prices. I'm inclined to not believe that to be true

United were not paying big money to agents back them or at least they claimed they were not. It does seem strange in light  of the money we paid for Pogba and Sanchez, but that was the story at the time.  How true it is I can't say, but it does seem to be the opinion among United fans.

We pulled out because of his agent fee's  ..only then did he look for another club, he had his heart set on a City move like he has again now ;)

I hope Leicester keep hold of him until the summer. It's an absolute pisstake they're forcing Leicester's hand this late in to proceedings.

It wouldn't be us if there wasn't some late shambles in the transfer window. I really did think this was the one we finally went well under the radar and sailed through it, but silly me.

There's less between them than you think I reckon. Salah's a perfect fit for your system though, so I don't think Mahrez would be your answer. Lemar makes a lot more sense for you.

He isn't worth the 50 mill, Leicester should sell 100% they will never get that amount again for him.

this attitude towards non-top-6 clubs fucking stinks.

'should sell 100%'. Why sell our best players? must we all bow down to the needs and wants of the top 6?

You don't have the money to compete with them so you sell for big and reinvest in the squad...

why should we settle for £50m?

our owners are multi-billionaires. Something like 9th in the Forbes list?

May not be on the levels of CIty, granted, but we're not peasants.
