Aberdeen's Scott Wright has signed a pre contract to join Rangers although they will try to get him to Ibrox this month. Gers are also looking to get Bournemouth pair Jack Simpson & Nnamdi Ofoborh tied up.

Both Wright & Simpson have been signed and have arrived at Ibrox. McCrorie used as part of the deal to get Wright now.

Allan Campbell to leave Motherwell, when his contract expires in the summer. Would be an excellent signing for any Scottish club. But, unless there is interest from Celtic or Rangers, I'd imagine he'd be away to play in the England Championship.

Massive loss for Motherwell, who should at least receive some development compensation for him.

Lawrence Shankland moving to Belgium. Will be a huge loss for Dundee United but, for £1m in the last year of his contract, it's hard to turn that down.

Had a tough year last season, but that says more about the team around him and the lack of almost any creativity in the team.

Raith having quite the mare with the Goodwillie signing.

Adjudged a rapist 10 years ago. Yet they've still signed him. Their sponsor for next season has pulled out, and women's captain has quit as a result. Fair play to them for sticking to their principles and sticking two fingers up to Raith.

Just read about this. What a bunch of idiots whoever decided to sign the rapist.

The club seems entirely tone deaf to the situation.  They said something about the decision being strictly "football related".

Two board members resigned in protest and supposedly both shirt sponsors have pulled (or are pulling) their support.

Yep, said it was firmly a 'football first decision' despite earlier in their statement stating they are a 'community club'. The former, embarrassingly and shamelessly, negates the latter.

Raith Rovers have stated he will not play for the club. Expect some pressure on the club's chairman, remaining directors and manager to follow.

At a time where clubs have already been struggling, losing sponsors and (more importantly) supporters, they'll have a lot of pressure to do so.

A horrific story, but it's at least a glimmer of hope that fans still have a huge amount of sway in the running of a so-called community club. I expect it'll take a lot for some fans to return and even more for the return of the people that had been previously associated with the club. Some of who had given the club their time, efforts and support. They, no doubt, have had a very emotional week and a lot of tough decisions to step away.

Guessing this is strictly off the back of Val pulling her sponsorship. Otherwise they wouldn’t have given two fucks. Money talks.

Extraordinarily dumb to make such a terrible decision, double-down on it to completely destroy any goodwill, and then backing down and not getting the player anyway.

They've truly managed to make the worst of it from every angle.

Clyde got away with it seemingly because a lot of their fans were kinda apathetic about it, but when your most famous fan and major sponsor is a feminist writer, and the issue is all over the news because of Greenwood, it must have been obvious this was not going to fly.

Apparently Rangers have been offered Cutrone from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Cutrone was a flop at Wolves, but perhaps playing for a club like Rangers is just what his career needs right now. He's still a young player and he is bound to score many goals in Scotland should he join Rangers. It could turn out to be a very good move for him if it goes through.
