True Blue
Apparently Hull will struggle to have a fit starting 11, while on the other hand we have only Barkley out (so far). I'd go with a mix of youth and the reserve players. Caballero Ampadu Luiz Cahill Zappacosta Drinkwater Bakayoko Emerson Sterling Giroud Hudson Odoi Leave the big guns on the bench just in case. Cicero
Lord knows what Conte's plans are with Bakayoko and Barcelona. He's done well in almost every big game this season, but will he still carry that form against Barca? Could experiment with Luiz in midfield again. As for the lineup, doubt Sterling will feature at RW. I'd start Morata. Help him find his feet again. Edit: Antonio Conte says David Luiz, Ross Barkley and Tiemoue Bakayoko are out
True Blue
Yeah i don't think Sterling will feature at all just wanted him to haha, Conte suggested that Morata could start today. For the Barcelona game i think we will go for 3-5-2 almost 100%

Luiz, Bakayoko, Alonso, and Barkley are all out.

Think we could easily play 4-3-3 with Kante holding, and Alonso, Christensen, Rudiger and Dave as the back four. Baka and Cesc as the central midfielders with Hazard, Willian etc on the wings and Morata as the solo striker. Or even 4-2-3-1 we have the players for all the combos. Considering he is already a liability defensively in our current set up, I couldn't imagine him being a lone Left Back, especially at a top club. If we do revert to a back 4, I can only see Alonso becoming a LW option.

Administrator Stan Posted February 16, 2018 Author Administrator Share Posted February 16, 2018 2-0 Chelsea. Trademark Fabregas assist sends Pedro through who takes it down in his stride and calmly places it past Marshall.
Administrator Stan Posted February 16, 2018 Author Administrator Share Posted February 16, 2018 Make that 3-0. Giroud uses his strength well to make room for Willian. Long range shot goes in off the post. 3-0.
carefreeluke
Class finishing tonight. Bring on some of the youngsters at half time for fuck sake Conte, will probably still wait until the 70th minute.
Bluewolf
Putting away the chances tonight I have to say... There have been other games where we have struggled to look anything close to dangerous in front of goal...
Bluewolf
Would like to see some changes at half time but leave Giroud on... let him try and bag a goal tonight..
Cicero
Yeah take out Willian for Odoi at half. Giroud's hold up and link up play is exactly what Conte was looking for.
carefreeluke
A Giroud goal, some of the youngsters getting significant playing time from the bench and no injuries would make this a perfect night.
Administrator Stan Posted February 16, 2018 Author Administrator Share Posted February 16, 2018 4-0. Nicely done by the 2 new signings. Emerson did well to create the space to cross and Giroud did great in very little space to squeeze a shot in.
