New thread not required for this, regarding pancake day.

The big day is almost upon us.

What are your plans for the day?

Any special events or gatherings planned?

Any stories from previous years?

Likes Rats

Hates Nutella

You disappoint me.

To be fair I haven't tried rats yet but I'm pretty sure a well-cooked one would taste better than Nutella anyway

Absolutely. Heard farm rats actually taste similar to chicken anyway... Well at least it pairs well with whisky unlike Nutella! :dunce:

Coconut milk is a gem. Roasted chickpeas with fire roasted tomatoes, add some coconut milk and put it on top of rice and you have one hell of a dish.

Chana dhal (?).

Brown-Rice-Chana-Pulao-Instant-Pot-500x3

Popular veggie dish in India.

Very nice indeed.

I use it for most Thai style curries. Curry paste, coconut milk, chicken/shrimp/fish/tofu, bamboo shots and other veggies of choice, some fish sauce, kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass, a little bit of palm sugar and then maybe some chopped Thai basil or cilantro on top.

Simple and heavenly.
