Another Monday fixture?

More protests?

The fans are planning protests.

I like Augsburg's Martin Hingeregger saying that the although the players should go about doing their job, the fans have every right to strike. Hinteregger also did not go to RB Leipzig from RB Salzburg out of respect for the fans and from being enraged by RB using Salzburg as a farming club.

To try and keep the road traffic to a minimum - which does not always work - most match tickets include public transport - road/Rail - to the grounds. Great for BVB wih a station like Man U next to the ground, but a long walk for Schalke fans which on good weather is ok but mid winter it sucks! After the Pokal game against Koln in December it took over an hour to get out of the Car Park and nearly as long after the last round. Can't comment on others - perhaps their Police are better organised......

Assuming the travel is OK, Monday night fixtures are class. Do you do many midweek games in Germany? An excuse to play under the lights is always a good one.

Only if you don't work (or don't have any other commitments) on the match day and the following day... take tomorrow's match, for example - a trip to Dortmund from Augsburg takes around 6-7 hours, realistically even longer.

There are no midweek games played in Bundesliga normally, with the exception of so-called "English Week".

Newcastle played Chelsea midweek once. Midweek football is quality, get it all the time in the lower leagues.

But like I said if the travel takes the piss then something needs to be changed.

It might be quality if it works, but if it's practically impossible for most away fans to make it, then it doesn't make any sense...

Bit of a problem with weekend games from where you are Miss!  Travel would be worse for mid-week, but you could do it with a week's holiday attached to the gameO.o

It certainly would be worth it to see a game like the one in Leipzig which has just finished:banana:

xD it depends, if I were unlucky enough to attend a match like the Not-Derby yesterday, I would need another week on top of it to fully recover!
