Sold Bobby Reid (arguably our best player) to Fulham for as much as we paid for him last season (about £10m), signed Marlon Pack and a striker that has scored 1 goal in an admittedly injury hit spell (Isaac Vassell). Fanfuckingtastic. Mid table mediocrity at best now, especially with a strike force that, possibly bar Glatzel, can't hit a barn door from one yard out. Unless we've been informed to pay the Sala fee by FIFA, I'm at a loss as two how we have not just weakened ourselves badly, but still haven't sorted out key positions. EDIT: The deal for Reid is actually a season loan rather than a permanent move, which is a little better but still begs the question as to why we're strengthening a rival. We had Embleton on loan last season and he did really well so I'm hoping Robson does just as well. Seen Robson play before and he's got a few goals from freekicks which could be useful for us. Midfield is hardly our weakest link but has the potential to be a cracking move on our behalf. Can't remember much of his time in England, he seemed to disappear at Spurs (maybe @Storts can help?), but get the impression he was decent over at his most recent club Hamburg.
