Dave
Nahitan Nandez (22), Gaston Silva (23), Federico Valverde (19), Rodrigo Bentancur (20), Georgian de Arrascaeta (23), Jose Maria Gimenez (22) and Matias Vecino (26). Are a handful of players preparing for their first World Cup. How do you think they'll get on? And how far do you think Uruguay as a nation can progress? Administrator Stan Posted March 15, 2018 Administrator Share Posted March 15, 2018 Looking forward to seeing Vecino on this stage. I've liked him at Inter this season for the most part (along with Skriniar).

To be fair, Oscar Tabarez has taken in the criticism and while Uruguay are still a bit stagnant, they have improved in that field since the beginning of the qualifiers. Shame their football is still a mess.
