I think this is going to be the League Cup all over again. We come very close but we lose out in a cruel way and then Chelsea run into a very beatable side in the semis.

The quarter final seems to be our limit in any tournament.

VAR is just a complete joke xD an offside call so they show a load of inconclusive angles and rule the goal out as a result.

I'm now 100% convinced they're deliberately bodging it up.

But surely that Welbeck penalty call would have been ruled out with VAR the other day. After all, they will always correct calls because the people who run football are brilliant.

a largely boring performance again but Utd probably deserve their lead. It was a superb cross from Matic, Lukaku timed his run perfectly to head in from close range.

A bit Sevilla-esque from Brighton. They've looked decent playing out and going through midfield but lacked the composure to play the killer pass or finish the chances they have made. 

Izquierdo coming on might help that.
