100% you would be as well if Liverpool were taken out of the equation of a match between 2 teams...

maybe not you in particular, but I can definitely imagine the uproar from some fans if Liverpool weren't mentioned at all in the ad for your upcoming Champions League game with Man City.

It's pretty disrespectful towards us so I think it's fair enough for people to point it out. Not so much from a basis of our fans being salty but from the fact that BT are selling themselves as a footballing broadcaster which means they have to try and be impartial and balanced if they want to be respected.

I remember the year we were 4th and our fans gobbed off a bit on Twitter when BT ran a title race program mid season featuring the big six and ignoring Everton when three of their 'contenders' were below us in the table halfway through the season.

I'd say fans of us or any club shouldn't be getting rattled by stuff like this but I do think it's fully justified to point out and criticise what for me goes down as clumsy and biased advertising of a football match if BT want to sell themselves as a source of neutral and impartial coverage of football.

I actually think it's very cuntish from BT. It's a game between TWO teams, and especially leaving thd fucking home team out the ad is a pisstake.

what a goal to kick things off.

Brilliant assist from Silva and in the buildup. Powerful volley from Sane leaves Pickford with no chance.

in the blink of an eye, Man City are 2-0 up. Bolasie headed over from a cross and within seconds, De Bruyne is setting up Jesus to head in from close range.

Bolasie is quickly running out of time to fall back on his injury as an excuse for being shite.

This match was over the second Rooney and Schneiderlin appeared on that team sheet. Imagine fielding those two against a midfield of De Bruyne and Silva and expecting anything but this to happen. I know Gueye is injured but surely Davies, Baningime or Robles would be a better and more mobile option in midfield than Schneiderlin.

Everton fans: "at least we can't do worse than being 4-0 down to Arsenal at half time".

Allardyce: "hold my gravy"

Bolasie scores! long-range effort hits the inside of both posts and then the back of the net. comeback?

BT Sport are so full of shit. "Allardyce got it wrong today going for a 4-4-2". xDxD. Try watching the game you utter cunts. At no point was Calvert-Lewin playing up alongside Tosun.

Allardyce did get it wrong though. Hmm they've got Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva with Sane and Sterling cutting inside. Let's play two central midfielders with no pace. That'll work.

A 3-1 loss to this City side isn't any better or worse than expected. Onto the next one.

City win against United to win the title would be marvelous. The look on Mourinhos face will be priceless.

In fairness to Everton they scored a goal and according to BT Sport they weren't even playing in the game, so I think they over-achieved somewhat.

17.9% possession at home is pretty poor, even for a side out of form. Fat Sam is a joke.

Hopefully after this season seeing how Fat Sam and Pardew recycling hasn't brought done a whole lot for troubled clubs, we'll stop seeing them recycled over and over again to produce dire football.

And no, I'm not saying that Everton should have expected something from this game for being at home. That Citeh side is crazy fucking good, I'd expect them to beat pretty much anyone they come up against unless that side is Barca and then I'd say it's a 50-50 who wins; or that other side plays out of their fucking mind. But I do think Everton at home should be putting up more of a fucking fight, regardless of how good or bad they may currently be... and I say that as someone who thinks Everton are small time and shite.

Koeman may have lost the players and the fans, but Fat Sam was a shocking appointment for a club that had spent a lot and wanted to show ambition. It's just dire football with no passion or fight from the players. If you've already failed to meet your goals for the season and you want to be ambitious and make a change, you want to have someone who'll build for the future and give you something to look forward to. Instead they've got shit football and someone who couldn't tell Lookman's one of their better looking prospects, despite his inexperience, and could maybe give a little spark to an Everton side that are crying out "holy shit, can someone please give us a fucking spark... please."

Way OTT given Unsworth was going to relegate them.
