Had a few key moments gone the other way (most notably the disallowed goal), things might've ended up very differently. Liverpool did deserve to go through all things considered, but Guardiola did the only thing he could do, which made for an exciting first hour of the game, and in the end he can't be really blamed for tonight's loss. When you see people on social media and other forums calling for us to be thrown out of the competition though, that's an overreaction. Far worse happens elsewhere. Fans who go to Italy get stabbed or ambushed in bars. Fans who go to Russia get battered.
