The last time a player has been this good in the PL was Suarez - also at Liverpool. Connections? Salah has always been good, but he was never world class. Salah now, Suarez before, Torres before that, Fowler, Owen, Rush, Aldridge.... the list goes on. We just always seem to pick up amazing forward players. Inverted 1,776 Posted April 24, 2018 Share Posted April 24, 2018 Not totally off the mark to say Liverpool are playing long ball but when you've got De Rossi, Strootman and Nainggolan up against you it's a lot easier to go over the top than try to go through them.
