Jonathan Walters - Leaving Burnley

Recommended Posts

@Bluebird Hewitt may be an ideal player for you guys?

Burnley forward Jonathan Walters says he is available for transfer after holding talks with manager Sean Dyche.

The Republic of Ireland international joined the Clarets from Stoke City for £3m last July but made just five appearances in his debut season, the last of those coming against Manchester City in the FA Cup on January 6.

Walters underwent knee surgery later that month but has been unable to break into the Burnley team since returning to full fitness

As soon as I posted I thought that would be a good place for him. @Dickie ?

apparently Huth was training with Stoke a few weeks back.

At the time, the odds for Huth's next club to be Stoke on Skybet were 6/1 which I thought was pretty good value. I think he'd do a good job in the Championship for Stoke even if it was just for one season.

How old is Huth now?

At that age youd think he could do a job for them on a years contract with an extension after a certain number of games played.

yeah, you'd think.

I think he's over his injury problems as well which affected him for all of season just gone.
