Stephen Yaxley-Lennon is a symbol of the “they took our jobs” brigade, I think the media need to cut out his airtime now as they shouldn’t be legitimising the far right

The worst thing about the media is that it gives all the worst people exposure, the most controversial public figures and political candidates, terrorists, generally disgraced people. And they do it because we as the public lap it up.

There’s a weird need for unlimited free speech across the media but what they fail to take into consideration are the consequences of hate speech becoming legitimised as a credible school of thought.

Free Speech is such a shit concept because, obviously, people should be free to speak their minds. Everyone agrees with that.

Making this common sense truth it into some object of worship is the crutch of people who hold basically insane positions, like that private organisations are obligated to air their views, that criticism is censorship, or that anyone can say anything anywhere without any consequences.

Everyone supports free speech. So generally, when someone makes a big deal out of it, there's something hiding beneath it.
