Jason Puncheon Pleads Guilty to Public Order Charge

Recommended Posts

Up until now, I thought he had shown great maturity over the last couple of years given all the baggage associated with him at every other club he played for bar Blackpool.

I think he's pretty much finished here. That last injury will take a lot out of him. Let him see out his contract as a back up player and wish him well with future endeavours.

Jason Puncheon has admitted a public order offence after lashing out with his belt outside a Surrey nightclub in December last year.

The Crystal Palace captain appeared at Staines Magistrates' Court on Monday for what was due to be the start of his trial but changed his plea.

Puncheon, 31, wore a black suit and black shirt as he stood in the dock to enter his guilty plea.

He admitted a section 4 public order offence of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence.
