Loftus-Cheek has had a very good game.

Could easily make Chelsea's first team at this rate.

Don't be silly... Why do that when we can go and blow 30Mill on the likes of Drinkwater, hardly use him and probably end up selling him for a loss this summer..

Surely that's the more sensible of our options... don't know how you don't see it

Another decent performance. We control games a lot better. Thought that was the best game I've seen Rashford have to be honest. He was on fire.

One thing is for certain and that's we don't need Jack Wilshere or Jonjo Shelvey, so much creativity over the pitch with incisive passing from all angles. So far I would say a good squad selection by Southgate.

Not going to get my hopes up mind because this is England but there is something about this team from both the manager and the players that wants to go out and win, whereas in the last World Cup it was quite clear our teams creativity was being restricted (full backs for example) and the last Euros it was clear the team didn't have the focus/mentality/quality to progress as seen by the displays against Russia, Iceland...

Hmm. Rashford was good. I've seen him play better. After his goal he was undoubtedly high on confidence and whilst there's nothing wrong with that, he ended up losing the ball a lot trying fancy skills etc. Alright in a friendly and I'd never want to coach flair/confidence out of someone but when it comes to the real thing he has to be a bit more sensible with the ball.

How beautiful did Elland Road look tonight? Much better atmosphere as well.

England have to get back to rotating round the grounds again.

Awesome. This is why more games need to get away from Wembley - you could see in the first 10 minutes that it had had more atmosphere in that time than it has in many Wembley games put combined.

Need to do it everywhere tbh. There's generally a concenus that it's in London and the atmospheres shit so move it....but the old Wembley produced a good atmosphere. If you brought it to WHL/Spurs new ground, Upton Park (obviously not any more), Stamford Bridge, Selhurst Park...the noise would be so much better.

But yeah, take it round the country, competitive games to friendless, big stadiums to smaller ones...around London, Brighton, Southampton, Pompey, Bristol, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Boro, Sunderland, Newcastle....all the stadiums in each city and then pick out some others, get down to Plymouth, up to Blackburn, Burnley, Bolton...get people interested again. Wembley grew stale because of the over use at club level and England being shit for years, potentially hitting our biggest slump of performances ever from 2008-2016.
