Monaco pick up their 2nd win under Henry and climb out of the relegation zone, Vieira's Nice keep a clean sheet for the 6th match in a row, but also fail to score which makes it two 0-0s in a row...and two of the teams battling for 2nd face eachother, with an early Nicolas Pépé goal being enough to get the three points for Lille at Montpellier, which means they leapfrog today's home side and go up to 2nd. An interesting day of Ligue 1 fixtures. Tomorrow Lyon can go 2nd if they beat Rennes, and Monaco could go back down into the relegation zone if Dijon don't lose to bottom of the table Guingamp.

Not a bad game actually. OM have taken the lead twice and Nantes have equalised twice. Abdoulaye Toure did really well to set up Sala for the first (great header) then got the 2nd himself on the stroke of half time.

Elsewhere Rennes who have sacked Sabri Lamouchi are 2-0 up at Parc OL under caretaker manager Julien Stéphan.

Doe this mean they will only win the title by 18 points as opposed to 21 ?

Dropping four points means they would win it by three fewer points? 🤔

They're already 14 points clear...I imagine they'll end up 25+ points above 2nd.

Oh yeah, forgot to say...Balotelli is the worst. Nice need a real footballer up front.

He's such a lazy arsehole it's unreal. Wonder how much he's on there, too. They could do so much better than him.

  • 3 weeks later...

OM v Monaco kicks off in 50 minutes. I'm looking forward to this.

Neither team playing with a striker as Falcao has just been announced as ill.

Fabregas and Ballo Touré debuts for Monaco...and Rony Lopes makes his league comeback after a long injury.
