how good are taliafico, perez, acuna and meza?

I dont watch other leagues than prem, spanish and some big matches in german and italian leagues so Im unaware of these players much.

Does Argentina stand a chance with these players today against Croatia?

Taliafico has done well at Ajax, since he joined.

Problem that Argentina have is that of their 10 players who are regulars at their clubs 3 are defenders (+ Mascherano) with none of them being an attacking full back, & 5 are attackers. Only midfielders they have playing at top clubs are Banega & Lo Celso

Ah, everyone remembers him here only because of his hair back in the day.

I remember him being totally shite in Italy.

I loved when he was talking shit while seated next to Jamie Carragher, and Carra called him out for being a moron and a shit footballer.

They´re not star players, by any means, but I liked what I´ve seen from Tagliafico. I guess Sampaoli wants a hard working team and perhaps even trying to press the croatian in their midfield by populating it.

But Pérez for Biglia, still doesn´t solve it, in my opinion. You must have Lo Celso or Banega, they need a more dynamic passer, without it Messi ends up being a midfield, and the croatians will love it, after all, they want him as far as possible from their area.

Mercado also shouldn´t be starting, in my opinion. If he is going with a 3-5-2, then Fazio should be part of that defence.
