The facelift is expected to be completed by 2023 and will cost an estimated 525 million euros, although it will not lead to an increase in capacity on the current 81,000 spectators. Last September club members approved Real going into debt of up to 575 million euros for 30 to 35 years to pay for the modernisation plan. “We want this to be a great digital stadium of the future, and it will be paid for by the income its renovation will provide, and it will make Real Madrid more competitive at a time when the footballing landscape is becoming ever less certain,” Perez said. A retractible roof will be built, and the stadium will be wrapped in a titanium facade, while a 360 degree scoreboard will also be installed. Pedestrian areas will be built along with an expanded megastore and museum as well as restaurants and bars, to generate more revenue for the 13-times European champions. Perez said details of how the project will be financed will be revealed next week, adding that construction will begin at the end of this season. Guessing this list is common knowledge though... Alot of the time they tend to be in the know. Real Madrid 100% want rid of Bale but there are currently no clubs interested in him. Dani Ceballos is a fantastic player but made the same mistake as Isco, so I'm not surprised there and he looks to be off. Would love him at Arsenal. This one with Navas is a perfect example of how massive clubs have become horrible. He has done nothing wrong on the ptich (quite the contrary). Zidane has personally told him he won't even make squads of 22 next season and that he should look for a new club. Navas doesn't want to leave! Kroos has been off his best for three years now (I know some innocent people will find that weird considering the Champions League success Real have enjoyed) and has only showed up in sparse moments. Iniesta and Xavi didn’t need to be athletes to that extreme as Messi also doesn’t because they’re are naturally connected to the sphere and the mechanisms of the game. The records broken by Xavi in particular on kilometres run during a game were insane. They were athletes but physical power in terms of athleticism wasn’t there in the extreme that players like Ramos or Cristiano Ronaldo have. They had to use their intelligence on the ball and reading the game to fool their stronger opponents. Your intelligence and technical ability goes as far as your ability to match the pace of the game. Toward the later years Iniesta lost his stamina and speed. Becoming more tired leads to poor decisions, poor touches, etc. Xavi lost his mobility after 2012. Much like Puyol, they felt they couldn't benefit the team anymore so they stood down. Ramos is still as fast, mobile, and strong as he was 10 years ago. He doesn't miss a game unless he's been sent off. He's a machine. Messi has unreal agility and balance, that is physical; also the amount of touches he can make in just a few moments is nothing short of physical marvel.
